Focus and Scope

Ede: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (EJHSS) aims to engage both established and early career scholars in a critical dialogue about humanistic issues and their social implication in the 21st century. EJHSS is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed open access journal, published online. The journal covers all areas of Arts/Humanities and Social Sciences. EJHSS accept well-researched articles whose content addresses local as well as international issues. It will publish book reviews of 1500 words maximum, short stories and drama of not more than 25 pages that are not under consideration for publication in another journal.

Publication Frequency

EJHSS is published online bi-annually (January and July), two issues per year. Additional special collections on a particular theme may also be published from time to time.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Authors of articles published remain the copyright holders and grant third parties the right to use, reproduce, and share the article according to the Creative Commons license agreement.

 

Submit an Article

Ede: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences solicits a well-written paper in any area of humanistic studies and social sciences for inclusion in new issues of its journal. Paper for consideration for publication in the January Issue must be uploaded on the website or submitted to the Editor-in-Chief latest by October 1 of the preceding year, while that for July Issue must be received by April 1 of every year. This will allows for ample time for peer-reviewers and correction of paper by the author.
